About the role
Nothing But Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a Travelling Health Screener to join our client's expanding peripatetic team in the occupational health sector. This role requires travel across the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to provide essential health surveillance services to various clients.
What you will do
- Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
- Accurately record all medical information in occupational health records and ensure it is communicated to the relevant clinical staff.
- Maintain and ensure all equipment is clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
- Support health promotion activities and assist with additional tasks as required.
- Gather and record accurate information to support clinical decision-making within the wider occupational health team.
- Provide biometric data through screening procedures to assist nursing and physician staff in making informed clinical decisions.
What we are looking for
We seek a highly skilled and self-motivated professional with exceptional time management and communication skills. A solid understanding of GDPR is essential, alongside the ability to effectively deliver health promotion and health surveillance services. Ideal candidates will have experience in roles such as Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, or Army Medic, or be recent graduates in Sports Science with relevant experience.
A valid manual UK driving licence is mandatory, and candidates must be comfortable with the travel requirements of the role, including regular overnight stays.
Package
The salary for this position ranges from £26,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package, including:
