Nothing But Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Surgery Manager (RN) to join a leading acute care hospital in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About the Role
As the Surgery Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for the Surgical Services team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical standards are met, and manage departmental resources while collaborating with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and senior leadership to deliver high-quality patient care.
What You Will Do
- Oversee daily Surgical Services operations and quality of patient care.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, supplies, and equipment.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff while managing employee performance.
- Provide hands-on clinical support as an RN when required.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical services and proven leadership skills. You will need:
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- ACLS and/or PALS certification, where applicable
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with management capability
- 2–3 years of surgical services experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to Muscle Shoals, Alabama within 30 days
Package
Our client offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Additional benefits include:
