About the Role
Nothing But Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Surgery Manager (RN) to join our client, a leading acute care hospital in the healthcare sector. This full-time, permanent position is based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to lead the Surgical Services team.
What You Will Do
As the Surgery Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic direction across Surgical Services, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily Surgical Services operations and quality of patient care.
- Managing departmental budgets, resources, supplies, and equipment.
- Leading performance improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and senior leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
- Providing hands-on clinical support as an RN when required.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical services and proven management experience. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current Registered Nurse licence.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience demonstrating management capability.
- 2–3 years of surgical services experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Muscle Shoals, Alabama within 30 days.
Package
