About the role
We are seeking dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioners to join our client, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional respiratory care within a dynamic medical environment, specifically in the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
What you will do
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care strategies.
- Assist in the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy under the guidance of physicians.
- Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems and monitoring devices.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy.
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and complete department training as required.
What we are looking for
- Education that meets certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the UK upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
