About the Role
As a full-time Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer, you will play a vital role in providing athletic training coverage and support for sport teams and school assignments. You will work closely with the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine to ensure the highest standard of care for athletes, focusing on injury prevention, immediate assessment, and treatment of injuries.
What You Will Do
- Provide athletic training coverage and support for assigned sports teams.
- Assist in the coordination of activities related to injury prevention and treatment.
- Perform immediate assessments and evaluations of injuries, ensuring appropriate triage.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Oregon Athletic Trainer License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- BOC (Board of Certification) membership upon hire.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in a school or college environment as an athletic trainer.
