About the role
Our client, a leading healthcare provider in the UK, is seeking an accomplished Nursing Director for their Emergency Services department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the busiest Level I Trauma Centres in the region, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient care and operational excellence.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with executive and physician leaders to enhance quality and operational performance.
- Oversee budget preparation and adherence, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Implement strategies to improve patient experience and satisfaction scores.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and quality indicators.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
What we are looking for
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of nursing management experience in a hospital setting, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Current UK Registered Nurse License.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
