About the role
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our client, a forward-thinking healthcare provider located in the Selinsgrove area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a primary care setting, providing essential ultrasound and echocardiography services as part of an innovative diagnostic team.
What you will do
- Perform general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound procedures independently with remote support.
- Complete preliminary reports for physician review.
- Assist patients from check-in through to exam completion, ensuring a compassionate and high-quality service.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the practice, fostering strong relationships with office staff and medical providers.
What we are looking for
- Certification in ultrasound in one or more of the following areas: General Ultrasound (ARDMS – (AB), (OB/GYN), (BR) or ARRT - RT(RDMS)), Vascular Ultrasound (ARDMS – RVT (VT), ARRT – RT (VS), or CCI – RVS), and Echocardiography (ARDMS – RDCS or CCI – ACS or RCS).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer.
- Ability to lift equipment and assist patients onto the exam table as needed.
- A detail-oriented, flexible approach with excellent communication skills.
