About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Sonographer to join our client in the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on ultrasound and echocardiography services. This full-time position will be based in the greater Syracuse area, servicing multiple clinics with a Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a work-life balance without night or weekend coverage.
What You Will Do
- Perform general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound procedures independently with remote support.
- Complete preliminary reports for interpreting physician review.
- Assist patients from check-in through exam completion, providing compassionate service.
- Act as a liaison between patients, office staff, and medical providers, building strong relationships.
What We Are Looking For
- Certification in ultrasound in one or more of the following registries: ARDMS or ARRT for General Ultrasound; ARDMS or CCI for Vascular Ultrasound; ARDMS or CCI for Echocardiography.
- At least 12 months of clinical Sonographer experience.
- Able to lift equipment and assist patients onto the exam table as needed.
- Willingness to participate in a paid cross-training program if not certified in all required areas.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be fully vaccinated or willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
