About the role
Nothing But Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a Health Screener to join our client, a leading organisation in the occupational health sector. This permanent position is based in Cambridge and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on employee health and wellbeing across various industries.
What you will do
- Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
- Accurately record all medical information in occupational health records and ensure it is passed to the relevant clinical staff.
- Maintain and ensure all equipment is clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
- Support health promotion activities and assist the wider occupational health team as needed.
- Provide biometric data to enable informed clinical decisions regarding patient management.
What we are looking for
- A highly skilled and self-motivated approach with excellent time management and communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of GDPR and the capability to deliver health promotion and surveillance services effectively.
- Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, or similar roles is desirable; graduates in Sports Science with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Valid manual UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, and at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to travel across the UK with regular overnight stays, while maintaining a positive work-life balance.
Package
A competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
