Health Screener Full-time

Nothing But Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Health Screener to join a leading occupational health organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing peripatetic team delivering high-quality health surveillance services across the Island of Jersey.

The Role

As a Peripatetic Health Screener, you will travel across the Island of Jersey, visiting a range of client sites to deliver occupational health screening services. You’ll play an important role in promoting employee health and wellbeing while supporting the wider occupational health team.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out health surveillance screenings, including:
  • Audiometry (hearing tests)
  • Spirometry (lung function testing)
  • Baseline measurements including height, weight, blood pressure and urinalysis
• Accurately record all screening results within occupational health records.
• Ensure all medical equipment is maintained, cleaned and ready for use.
• Support health promotion initiatives and wellbeing campaigns.
• Gather and record accurate clinical information to assist occupational health clinicians.
• Provide biometric screening data to support clinical decision-making and patient management.
• Deliver a professional, friendly and high-quality service to clients at various locations.

What You’ll Need

• Experience as a:
  • Healthcare Support Worker
  • Emergency Care Assistant
  • Healthcare Assistant
  • Occupational Health Technician
  • Sports Science Graduate with experience carrying out baseline health measurements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• A good understanding of GDPR and patient confidentiality.
• The ability to work independently and manage a travel-based workload.
• A full UK manual driving licence, held for at least 12 months, and be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.

• Salary of £32,000 – £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
