About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Health Screener to join our client, a leading provider in the occupational health and wellbeing sector. This full-time role is based in Luton and involves travelling across the UK to deliver essential health surveillance services to various client sites.
What you will do
- Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements.
- Accurately record all medical information in occupational health records for relevant clinical staff.
- Maintain all equipment to ensure it is clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
- Support health promotion activities and assist the wider occupational health team.
- Provide biometric data through screening procedures to aid clinical decision-making.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with excellent time management and communication skills. A solid understanding of GDPR is essential, along with the ability to deliver health promotion and surveillance services effectively. Candidates should have experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, or similar roles, or be recent graduates in Sports Science with relevant experience.
A valid manual UK driving licence is mandatory, and applicants must be at least 21 years of age. You will need to be comfortable with travel and overnight stays, as the role requires regular travel across the UK.
Package
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
