The Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care strategies, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible treatment.
What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.
- Assist physicians in delivering and directing respiratory therapy.
- Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems and monitoring devices.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy.
- Participate in the completion of department and unit-specific orientation programs.
What You’ll Need
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
