The Role
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilising sophisticated MRI equipment while considering individual patient needs.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct MRI scans and produce optimal images based on imaging factors and techniques.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations while addressing special needs related to age or condition.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver excellent patient care.
What You’ll Need
- Relevant education to meet certification and licensing requirements.
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Temporary License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
