About the role
We are currently seeking a Health Screener to join our client's expanding peripatetic team. This role involves travelling across the UK to deliver high-quality health surveillance services, playing a vital part in ensuring the health and wellbeing of employees across various industries.
What you will do
- Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements.
- Accurately record all medical information in occupational health records.
- Maintain and ensure all equipment is clean, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
- Support health promotion activities and assist the wider occupational health team.
- Provide biometric data through screening procedures to enable informed clinical decisions.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with exceptional time management skills and strong communication abilities. A solid understanding of GDPR is essential, along with the capability to effectively deliver health promotion and health surveillance services. Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, or similar roles is preferred, but recent graduates in related fields are also encouraged to apply.
A valid manual UK driving licence is mandatory, and candidates must be comfortable with the travel requirements of the role, which may include regular overnight stays.
Package
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
