The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive range of clinical services at our client’s site. Your expertise will support both employers and employees in promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace.
What You’ll Do
- Provide professional occupational health case management advice to facilitate early returns to work for absent employees.
- Offer guidance on health issues, health promotion, and health education to both employers and employees.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to meet service level agreements.
- Conduct health surveillance, including vaccinations and phlebotomy as required.
- Maintain compliance with NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct.
- Handle medical records in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Participate in clinical audit activities as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- Essential:
- Nursing Qualification
- Two years experience in case management with complex referrals
- NMC registration
- Occupational Health degree/diploma
- Experience in Occupational Health departments
- Trained in clinical services including health surveillance and phlebotomy
- Desirable: Experience with Rail
