Occupational Health Nurse Full-time

Location: Client Site in Warton
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Thursday: 8:45/9:00am to 5:00/5:15pm, Friday: 9:00am to 4:00pm)
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality healthcare services to employees. In this role, you will deliver a range of occupational health services, from managing minor injuries and illnesses to conducting case management, health surveillance, and vaccinations.

This is a full-time role based on-site at Warton, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on employee health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a full occupational health and treatment service, including: Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, and education.
• Health surveillance and safety-critical medicals.
• Travel health assessments and vaccinations.
• Drug and alcohol testing.
• Providing professional advice, support, and guidance to employees and managers.
• Assessing new clients presenting to occupational health services.
• Conducting clinical assessments of clients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
• Assessing fitness to work for specific roles.
• Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practices.

Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in A&E, intensive care, or similar settings is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
Previous occupational health experience is preferable.
Registered Nurse (Part 1) with current NMC registration.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
Occupational Health Diploma is advantageous.
