Our client, a local authority in Powys, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide professional support during a temporary peak in workload within their Adults Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled therapist to make a meaningful impact in the community on a short-term basis.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions in line with professional standards
Support adults with care and support needs, promoting independence and wellbeing
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client requirements
Liaise with colleagues, service users, and families to ensure high-quality care
Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational policy
Requirements
Professional registration as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working within adult social care settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Flexible and adaptable approach to meet temporary service demands
