Mental Health Nurse Band 6 Contract

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker / Mental Health Nurse (Band 6) to join our team on the Fylde Coast. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments independently and provide support to young people.
• Work within organizational thresholds and adhere to established systems.
• Develop and complete care plans and hospital discharge plans.
• Manage risk effectively, including adapting and updating risk plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to provide support and work cohesively.
• Provide triage and duty support for the team, prioritizing caseloads and work effectively.
• Offer expertise in working with young people presenting a variety of mental health and well-being concerns.
• Signpost young people to appropriate services and make safeguarding referrals when necessary.
• Leverage experience in CAMHS or children’s child protection work.

Requirements:
Proven experience of working face-to-face with young people.
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of mental health services and safeguarding procedures.

Pay Rates:
Days: £22 – £26 per hour
Nights/Saturdays: £30 – £34 per hour
Sundays/Bank Holidays: £38 – £44 per hour
