A forward-thinking local authority is expanding its Safeguarding & Support teams and is looking for passionate Social Workers to help make a lasting difference to children, young people, and families.

The Role
As a Social Worker within Safeguarding & Support, you will:

• Manage a varied caseload involving children in need, child protection, and court work
• Complete assessments, care planning, and direct interventions
• Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
• Deliver strengths-based and child-centred practice
• Take decisive action where safeguarding concerns arise
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment focused on achieving long-term positive outcomes

About You
To be considered, you will:

• Hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
• Be registered with Social Work England
• Have experience within children’s safeguarding services
• Be confident managing complex cases and risk
• Demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills
• Be committed to collaborative and inclusive practice
