Senior Support Worker – Barnstaple (2-bed EBD)
Location: Barnstaple | Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week) | Salary: £29,120 per annum (£16.00/hour)
Step into a senior leadership role as a Senior Support Worker in a 2-bed home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You’ll be responsible for shift leadership, mentoring staff, and ensuring children experience consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise and lead shifts, ensuring children’s needs are met.
Supervise and develop junior staff, promoting best practice.
Maintain detailed records and manage incidents safely.
Support children’s educational and social development.
Participate in sleep-in and on-call duties as required.
About You:
Experienced in residential childcare with senior responsibilities.
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Child-focused and compassionate.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
