The Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients and implementing tailored physical therapy treatment plans. Your expertise will be essential in restoring function, reducing pain, and promoting mobility for individuals in need of rehabilitation.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish appropriate goals for patients.
- Develop and implement personalized interventions, including therapeutic exercises and manual techniques.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants and support personnel.
- Continuously monitor and document patient progress, modifying plans as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- A Physical Therapist License in the relevant state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- The capability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
