Physiotherapist Full-time

This role is based in Barrow-in-Furness and offers a chance to make a significant impact on employee health within a supportive team environment.

The Role

As a Physiotherapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal team, providing essential support to employees with musculoskeletal health concerns. This position is ideal for both experienced professionals and new graduates interested in developing their skills through a Graduate Training Programme.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Rehabilitate employees with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
• Maintain comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
• Collect statistical information to support report generation.
• Contribute to or run health promotion events.
• Classify musculoskeletal disorders into work-relatedness categories.
• Prepare reports for management, detailing fitness to work and recommending necessary adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with the wider occupational health team.
• Conduct DSE assessments and provide relevant advice.

What You’ll Need

• Essential: Degree (MSc or BSc) in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in musculoskeletal care, or a desire from new graduates to specialise in this area.
• Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused, flexible, efficient, and highly organised.
• Able to plan and prioritise work effectively.
