Occupational Therapist Full-time

Salary $106,000.00 to $127,000.00

The Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing restorative and rehabilitative therapy services, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to maximise participant independence and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in participants’ homes to identify care needs, preferences, and goals.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Deliver and document therapeutic interventions as outlined in participant care plans.
• Provide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional training of activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Work alongside Therapy Assistants, offering training and guidance to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP).

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy; a master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a frail or elderly population.
• Valid Occupational Therapy License in California, or proof of license eligibility.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid within 180 days of hire is required; certification upon hire is preferred.
• Experience in outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing settings is ideal.
