Nothing But Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a small residential home supporting children with learning disabilities and neurodiverse needs. The home caters to children with Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), specific learning needs (e.g., dyslexia, dyspraxia), speech and language challenges, and other developmental differences.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will oversee a nurturing, play-based residential environment designed to support the developmental and learning needs of children. You will lead a team dedicated to providing safe, personalised care that fosters growth, learning, and confidence, helping each child reach their full potential in a supportive and structured setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Leadership & Management: Lead and support a committed team in delivering high-quality, child-centred care for children with learning disabilities and developmental needs.
– Developmental Care: Ensure all care is tailored to individual learning and developmental needs, promoting skills, independence, and confidence.
– Compliance: Maintain full adherence to regulatory standards, safeguarding requirements, and quality frameworks.
– Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to provide empathetic, skilled, and developmental-focused care.
– Assessment & Planning: Oversee personalised care plans, focusing on developmental progress, learning, and emotional wellbeing.
– Quality Assurance: Implement systems to continuously monitor and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
– Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
– Proven experience managing residential childcare for children with learning disabilities or developmental needs
– Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Passion for supporting children with neurodiverse profiles and learning needs
