Occupational Health Advisor – Hybrid Full-time

NBR is recruiting on behalf of a leading occupational health provider for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality occupational health services and expert case management to employees in a professional and supportive environment.

The Role:
You will deliver evidence-based occupational health advice and case management, supporting employee health and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include:

– Producing professional, comprehensive, evidence-based written reports
– Providing expert guidance on occupational health legislation and best practice
– Managing referrals and triaging cases
– Delivering travel health advice
– Handling health surveillance escalations and completing pre-placement questionnaires (PPQs)

About You:

– Registered on Part 1 of the NMC register
– Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
– Experience in case management, occupational health advice, medicals, and health surveillance
– Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and IT skills
– Understanding of occupational health and employment legislation
– Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
– Additional qualifications or experience in mentoring, vaccinations, ergonomic advice, or OH leadership are desirable

Hours & Location:

– Full-time or part-time hours available
– Hybrid working: combination of home and onsite at Derby client site
