The Role
As an Occupational Health Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality occupational health services. Your responsibilities will include conducting health surveillance assessments and contributing to the effective operation of occupational health programmes.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct health screening procedures, including baseline measurements and health surveillance screenings.
- Accurately record medical information in occupational health records for clinical staff review.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, clean, and calibrated for optimal use.
- Adhere to established protocols and direct queries outside your competencies to clinical staff.
- Manage the drug and alcohol testing processes, including chain of custody procedures.
- Assist with non-clinical tasks as required, such as filing and health promotion activities.
- Maintain a flexible approach to your role to meet professional and service needs.
