The Role
As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This full-time position involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our most vulnerable patients.
What You’ll Do
- Assess, identify, and implement appropriate nursing diagnoses and plans of care for patients.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the dignity and rights of patients.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Lead and coordinate care with inter-professional teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment.
