Occupational Health Advisor/Nurse
Location: Uxbridge, London Area
Salary: £37,000 – £43,000 per year (pro-rata)
Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week + 6 additional days per year)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor/Nurse to join a well-established provider of occupational health and wellbeing services. This is a flexible, part-time role offering hands-on clinical work and the opportunity to make a real impact on employee health and wellbeing.
You will provide day-to-day clinical support, liaise with key personnel, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality occupational health service.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct independent medical assessments, both by phone and in-person
Carry out health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, and biological monitoring
Provide travel health advice and support first aiders
Coordinate health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Maintain clinical standards and ensure compliance with company policies
Ensure clinical rooms are maintained to the required standard and equipment logs are up to date
Manage your own workload and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements
Previous experience in occupational health is essential
Experience in case management, pre-placement questionnaires, and health surveillance
Experience in safety-critical assessments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
