Occupational Health Advisor Full-time

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a supportive and professional team in Derby. This is a hands-on role delivering high-quality occupational health services and advice to a variety of client employees.
You’ll have the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with two days per week dedicated to supporting a leading car manufacturer and the remainder of your time spent across other client sites. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on employee health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Produce professional, evidence-based occupational health reports
Provide expert advice on OH legislation and best practices
Manage referrals, triage cases, and handle health surveillance escalations
Conduct pre-placement questionnaires and medical assessments
Provide travel health advice
Support wellbeing initiatives and contribute to a high-quality OH service
Requirements
Current registration on Part 1 of the NMC register
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
Strong experience in case management, OH advice, and health surveillance
Excellent communication and IT skills
Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality principles in OH
