Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Assistant Team Managers to support the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) service. The role requires candidates who have prior MASH experience and management experience.
The successful candidates will oversee and support the delivery of social care assessments and safeguarding activity, working closely with a multi-agency team to ensure timely and effective interventions.
Key Requirements
Previous experience working in a MASH service (mandatory)
Management experience in a social care setting (mandatory)
Ability to lead, support, and mentor staff within a MASH team
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, processes, and best practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations
Office presence required for a minimum of three days per week
Candidate Requirements
Social care qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience managing staff in a safeguarding environment
Confident in multi-agency collaboration and decision-making
Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding protocols, and child protection legislation
Special Requirements
Must be available to work in the office at least three days per week
Only candidates with prior MASH and management experience will be considered
