Location: London (2 days per week near Battersea, 3 days per week across various London client sites)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum
Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Peripatetic Occupational Health Nurse to join our clients multidisciplinary team. This role involves delivering high-quality occupational health services, supporting employee wellbeing, and working collaboratively with external organizations and healthcare professionals.
You will provide care across multiple sites, making a positive impact through clinical excellence and health promotion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a comprehensive occupational health and treatment service, including:Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, and education.
Health surveillance and safety-critical medicals.
Drug and alcohol testing.
Provide professional advice, guidance, and support.
Conduct clinical assessments of employees presenting with minor injuries or illnesses.
Assess fitness to work for various job roles.
Support the Occupational Health Manager in monitoring and assessing clinical practices within the team.
Ensure clinical assessment skills are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) with a diploma or degree in Occupational Health (preferred).
Previous occupational health experience is advantageous.
Experience working in A&E or intensive care settings.
Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
IT literate and proficient in maintaining medical confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Self-motivated and capable of prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines, and working independently.
Experience conducting pre-placement assessments and producing professional reports.
Additional Requirements:
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to travel between client sites across London.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Diploma in Occupational Health (preferred).
