Senior Laboratory Analyst Full-time

The Role:
As a Senior Laboratory Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate, high-quality results using LC–MS/MS systems, maintaining laboratory equipment, and keeping the facility audit-ready. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of laboratory management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and analyse samples (e.g., solid-phase extraction) using LC–MS/MS
- Review analytical data to ensure results meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate lab records, instrument logs, QC documentation, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025
- Support validation or verification of new/improved analytical methods
- Monitor stock levels and manage consumables
- Identify and report deviations, instrument issues, and non-conformances
- Keep the laboratory clean, safe, and organised
- Contribute to efficiency and quality improvement projects
What We’re Looking For:
- BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or related field
- Experience in ISO/IEC 17025-accredited or similarly regulated laboratories
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work requirements
Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
One weekend day in three, with a day off the following week
Location:
Based at a laboratory near Bicester
