Senior Laboratory Analyst Full-time

The Role:
As a Senior Laboratory Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate, high-quality results using LC–MS/MS systems, maintaining laboratory equipment, and keeping the facility audit-ready. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of laboratory management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and analyse samples (e.g., solid-phase extraction) using LC–MS/MS
• Review analytical data to ensure results meet quality standards
• Maintain accurate lab records, instrument logs, QC documentation, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025
• Support validation or verification of new/improved analytical methods
• Monitor stock levels and manage consumables
• Identify and report deviations, instrument issues, and non-conformances
• Keep the laboratory clean, safe, and organised
• Contribute to efficiency and quality improvement projects

What We’re Looking For:

• BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or related field
• Experience in ISO/IEC 17025-accredited or similarly regulated laboratories
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work requirements

Hours:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
One weekend day in three, with a day off the following week

Based at a laboratory near Bicester
