About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director for Cardiovascular Services to lead a high-performing Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and cardiovascular programs. This leadership role is focused on driving high-quality patient care, innovative clinical initiatives, and efficient operational performance.
As Nursing Director, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, implement new programs, and help shape the future of cardiovascular services in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Cardiovascular Services.
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive plans across ambulatory, acute, post-acute, and community care.
Drive continuous improvement in patient outcomes, cost of care, and satisfaction.
Lead the design of new programs to improve quality and efficiency.
Partner with quality and leadership teams to meet accreditation standards.
Support recruitment, retention, and engagement of cardiovascular staff.
Oversee financial performance and resource allocation.
Demonstrate inspirational leadership and uphold patient-centered values.
Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership.
Mentor and develop perioperative nursing staff.
Oversee ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and safety standards.
Qualifications
Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Licensure: Current WV RN license or eligible
Experience: 5–7 years progressive leadership in Cardiovascular Services
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers
Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and implement performance improvement initiatives
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (or obtained within defined timeframe)
