At NBR, we partner with leading organisations across the UK to advertise their key roles. Our client, a provider of occupational health and wellbeing solutions, is looking for an experienced **Occupational Health Advisor** to join their team, reporting to the Clinical Lead.
This is a **hybrid role**, combining working from home with onsite duties at the client site in Derby.

Role Overview
The Occupational Health Advisor will deliver high-quality occupational health advice and services to the client’s employees. This includes expert, evidence-based case management for referrals related to attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health matters. You will support the health and wellbeing of employees while ensuring professional and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide professional, comprehensive, and evidence-based written reports
– Offer expert advice on legislative requirements and best practices relating to occupational health
– Provide travel advice
– Triage referrals
– Manage health surveillance escalations
– Carry out Pre-Placement Questionnaires (PPQs)

Person Specification
– Current registration on Part 1 of the NMC register
– Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma) required
– Desirable: Part 3 NMC registration, MSc in OH-related field, or dual RN/RMN registration
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong time management and IT literacy, including data protection and confidentiality principles
– Experience in case management, providing OH advice, conducting medicals, and performing health surveillance
– Additional desirable experience: mentoring OH students, managing OH teams, administering vaccinations, advanced ergonomic advice
– Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
– Strong negotiation, motivational skills, and ability to provide/receive constructive feedback

Salary & Benefits
– Salary between £43,000 and £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
