Nothing But Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare organisation for experienced Respiratory Care Practitioners / Respiratory Therapists to join their Respiratory Therapy team in Spokane, Washington.

This is a full-time opportunity working within a busy hospital environment, providing respiratory care across a range of patients and clinical needs.

The Role

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will work closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to assess patients and deliver appropriate respiratory care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing respiratory therapy and patient assessments
• Supporting physicians with the delivery and direction of respiratory care
• Operating and maintaining respiratory and ventilatory support equipment
• Providing oxygen therapy and respiratory care procedures
• Supporting monitoring and resuscitation activities
• Assisting with diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Contributing to individual patient care plans
• Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining high standards of patient-focused care

You will receive department and unit-specific orientation to support you in the role.

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Appropriate education and training to meet respiratory therapy certification requirements
• A current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner licence
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience working within a hospital or acute-care respiratory therapy environment
• The ability to work effectively alongside physicians, nurses and other clinical professionals

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this opportunity.
