Occupational Health Advisor (Hybrid Working May Be Considered) Full-time

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a collaborative and multidisciplinary team. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting employee health and wellbeing through professional occupational health services. This is a full-time role based at a client site in Heathrow, with the potential for hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert, evidence-based case management for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health needs.
• Produce professional and comprehensive written reports.
• Provide expert advice on legislative requirements and best practices in occupational health.
• Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance in line with protocols and best practices.
• Evaluate medical and surveillance results, ensuring appropriate advice on fitness is communicated and escalating when necessary.
• Offer clinical supervision and support to team members, such as Occupational Health Technicians.
• Maintain valid and up-to-date registration with the NMC and adhere to continuous professional development and clinical guidelines.

Skills and Experience:
Registered Nurse (Part 1) with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in:Case Management
General Medicals
Fitness-for-Work Assessments
Health Surveillance
IT literacy and competence.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Understanding of data protection principles and confidentiality in occupational health practice.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
