Senior Support Worker – Torrington (2-bed EBD)
Location: Torrington | Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week) | Salary: £29,120 per annum (£16.00/hour)
Take the lead in providing outstanding care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll oversee shifts, mentor staff, and ensure every child experiences a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead shifts, organising routines and tasks efficiently.
Supervise and support junior staff, ensuring high standards of care.
Maintain accurate records and manage incidents appropriately.
Support children’s education, social, and emotional development.
Undertake on-call and sleep-in duties on a rota basis.
About You:
Experience in residential childcare with senior or leadership responsibilities.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Committed to children’s welfare and development.
Flexible with shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
