Nothing But Recruitment is currently seeking a talented and experienced Director of Quality and Risk to join a leading healthcare organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in quality improvement and risk management to make a significant impact on patient care and safety.
The Role
The Director of Quality and Risk will play a crucial role in governing the organisation’s regulatory compliance programs and will be responsible for managing effective quality and performance improvement, as well as risk management functions across all departments. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of services delivered.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Quality and Performance Improvement Program, facilitating collaboration across service lines and departments.
- Act as the Patient Safety Officer, overseeing patient safety initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage the National Quality Program in partnership with senior leadership.
- Prepare and present monthly operating reviews on quality and patient safety.
- Manage readiness for accreditation surveys and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Oversee risk management processes, including incident tracking and reporting.
- Lead educational programs related to quality, risk, and compliance.
- Engage with various stakeholders to implement and maintain successful quality and risk programs.
What You’ll Need
- A Masters degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required.
- Current RN licensure in the relevant state.
- At least 5 years of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting, focusing on nursing, risk, and quality improvement.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations, as well as Joint Commission standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality and risk initiatives, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
