About the Service
We are recruiting on behalf of a small 4-bed CQC-registered adult residential service supporting adults with a range of needs, which may include learning disabilities, autism, and associated complex support requirements.
The service provides a safe, structured, and person-centred home environment, focused on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Care is delivered within a small, stable setting where consistency, positive relationships, and tailored support are central to achieving good outcomes for residents.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take full operational responsibility for the service in Kettering.
You will lead the home day-to-day, ensuring high standards of care, full regulatory compliance, and a strong, person-centred culture across the team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for both operational delivery and long-term service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall operation of a 4-bed adult residential service
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
Provide strong leadership and direction to the staff team
Oversee person-centred care planning and support delivery
Promote independence, choice, and dignity for all residents
Maintain safeguarding standards and ensure a safe environment
Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and day-to-day operations
Supervise, support, and develop staff through regular supervision and appraisal
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality service delivery
About You
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks
Experience within adult residential care (learning disabilities/autism/complex needs preferred)
Confident and capable leader who can manage a small team effectively
Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
Calm, consistent, and resilient under responsibility
