Senior Support Worker – Bideford (3-bed EBD)
Location: Bideford | Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week) | Salary: £29,120 per annum (£16.00/hour)
We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to lead care in a 3-bed home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You’ll take charge of shifts, guide your team, and ensure children thrive in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organise shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to junior staff.
Maintain accurate incident, accident, and care records.
Support children’s personal, social, and educational development.
Undertake sleep-in and on-call duties as part of the rota.
About You:
Residential childcare experience with leadership or senior responsibilities.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A compassionate, child-focused approach.
Flexible with shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
