Registered Manager – Residential Care for Children with EBD Full-time

Location: Handsworth, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £47,000 + benefits

Nothing But Recruitment is partnering with an established and growing provider of care services, seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead their 4-bed home for children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role:
This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to oversee a residential home, ensuring it delivers outstanding care in line with regulatory standards. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
– Leadership & Management: Lead a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and support for children with mental health needs.
– Compliance: Ensure the home meets all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children’s Home Regulations.
– Team Development: Recruit, train, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
– Care Planning: Oversee assessments and individualized care plans for each child.
– Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
– Financial Oversight: Manage the home’s budget efficiently.
– Quality Assurance: Implement processes to continuously improve care standards.

Requirements:
– Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
– Proven management experience in a residential childcare setting
– Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Passion for working with children and young people
