Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician Full-time

The Role

As a Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician, you will travel across the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to provide high-quality health surveillance services. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to make a significant impact on employee health and wellbeing.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline measurements.
• Accurately record all medical information and ensure it is communicated to the relevant clinical staff.
• Maintain clean and serviceable equipment, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Support health promotion activities and assist the wider occupational health team.
• Provide biometric data through screening procedures to aid clinical decision-making.

What You’ll Need

• A highly skilled and self-motivated professional with exceptional time management and communication abilities.
• A solid understanding of GDPR and the ability to deliver health promotion and surveillance services effectively.
• Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, or similar roles is advantageous.
• A valid manual UK driving licence, with a minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
