Nothing But Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a small residential children’s home supporting up to 3 young people, aged 8–17, with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will oversee a high-quality residential home, creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children and young people can thrive. You will lead a team dedicated to providing tailored emotional, behavioural, and social support, ensuring each young person receives the care and stability they need to develop skills, confidence, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
– Leadership & Management: Lead and support a committed team to provide exceptional care for children and young people with complex needs.
– Child-Centred Care: Deliver individualised care plans that address emotional, behavioural, and social development.
– Compliance: Ensure the home meets all regulatory standards, safeguarding requirements, and quality frameworks.
– Team Development: Recruit, train, and support staff to deliver high-quality, nurturing care.
– Assessment & Planning: Oversee personalised care assessments and interventions for each child or young person.
– Quality Assurance: Implement systems to continuously monitor and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
– Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
– Proven experience managing residential childcare or similar services
– Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Passion for supporting children and young people with complex needs
