Nothing But Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a busy Children’s Social Care and Safeguarding service covering MASH, Referral & Assessment, Child Protection and Family Protection. This role is a temporary cover position and requires a confident, skilled practitioner with strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments.
The role:
Build positive, supportive, and respectful relationships with children and families.
Help families to raise their children safely within their own networks wherever possible.
Where this is not possible, develop and implement alternative plans to ensure children grow up in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes.
Work within a supported practice environment that enables you to use your professional judgement, autonomy, knowledge, and skills.
Apply the Signs of Safety practice model to all work with children, families, and professionals.
Coordinate and influence multi-agency support to keep children safe and well cared for.
Ensure compliance with statutory duties, safeguarding responsibilities, and best practice standards.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified and experienced Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
Strong safeguarding experience within MASH, R&A, CP or Family Protection.
Ability to manage complex caseloads and make sound professional judgements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and coordinate multi-agency input.
Commitment to Signs of Safety practice.
Contract details:
Inside IR35.
Full-time, 36 hours per week.
15-week temporary contract.
Based at Bexleyheath, Kent.
