NBR is working with a top-tier healthcare facility in Houston, Texas to find an experienced and dedicated Senior Mammography Technologist. This is a full-time, day-shift role ideal for a seasoned Mammo Tech looking to work with advanced equipment, contribute to a patient-centered care environment, and grow within a forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform a wide range of diagnostic mammography procedures with technical excellence and a commitment to patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing mammographic imaging exams, ensuring proper technique and adherence to safety protocols
• Preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and administering contrast when needed
• Monitoring and entering patient data accurately
• Conducting quality assurance checks on equipment and assisting with ACR accreditation processes
• Reporting equipment issues or incidents to department leadership
• Providing safe, efficient, and compassionate care aligned with facility standards
• Taking emergency department call as needed
• Acting as a preceptor and mentor to junior technologists
• Supporting the ongoing development and education of the imaging team

Requirements
Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Completion of an approved Mammography Technology program

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current or temporary Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist License (MRT) – required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certification – required
• Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS or ALS) – required

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Must be physically able to assist with patient positioning and movement

Interview Process

• One-hour on-site job shadow
