Occupational Health Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join a professional team in Jersey. This is a hands-on, full-time role delivering high-quality occupational health services across multiple client sites. You will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of employees while providing expert clinical care and guidance.
The role may occasionally involve UK-wide travel, with expenses covered, and applicants must reside in Jersey and have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full OH/Treatment services, including consultation, clinical assessment, treatment, medical assessments, and D&A testing where appropriate
Offer professional advice, support, and guidance to clients and the wider multidisciplinary team
Assess employees presenting with minor injury or illness and provide sound clinical advice
Assess fitness to work and issue appropriate fitness certificates
Write letters to GPs and specialists in line with relevant legislation
Maintain accurate clinical records and health surveillance in line with legislation
Support on-site first aid provision and contribute to health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Maintain NMC registration and adhere to professional guidelines and departmental protocols
Work flexibly to meet professional and service needs
Requirements
Registered General Nurse or Adult Nursing qualification
Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
Strong clinical skills including suturing and cannulation
Experience in interpreting health screening and surveillance results
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
Strong IT and administrative skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality occupational health care
