The Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality respiratory therapy to patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to implement patient care plans and ensure optimal respiratory support is provided.
What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy principles.
- Assist physicians in delivering and directing respiratory therapy.
- Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring devices, and conduct patient assessments.
- Participate in diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy.
- Complete necessary department and unit-specific orientation programs.
What You’ll Need
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
