The Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Trauma unit, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery and to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Trauma setting.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Nursing.
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence.
- Preferred certifications: RN-C or CCRN.
- American Heart Association BLS certification (must be obtained within 7 days of hire).
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications required within the orientation period.
