Location: Brecon, Powys

Pay: £27.35/hr (PAYE) | £34.39/hr (Limited/Umbrella)
We’re looking for a qualified and dedicated Children’s Social Worker to join a supportive team in South Powys on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families while working in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Carrying out assessments and reviewing children’s care and support needs.
Developing and implementing care plans with children, families, and other agencies.
Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate case records.
Advocating for children and ensuring their voices are heard.
Working closely with colleagues and external partners to provide seamless care.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified and registered social worker with experience in children’s services.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage caseloads independently while providing high-quality support.
Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
