The Role

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will provide professional advice to employees, conducting medical assessments, consultations, and fitness evaluations in line with organisational policies and standards.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver expert case management services for attendance and fitness for work referrals.
• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based written reports.
• Offer advice on legislative requirements and best practices in occupational health.
• Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance, ensuring compliance with best practice.
• Evaluate medical results and clearly communicate fitness advice, escalating issues where necessary.
• Maintain registration with the NMC and adhere to guidelines on professional development.
• Proficiently conduct Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, and fitness assessments.

What You’ll Need

• Registered Nurse (Part 1) with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma.
• Strong time management, written communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and assess personal competence.
• Confidence with IT and a solid understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles.
• Experience in case management and occupational health advisory roles.
